This year, the NWMAF is trying something new: hosting regional training events in four different regions of the country over the fall and winter, in order to strengthen regional connections, create community, boost membership, and spread the word about the NWMAF’s work. Titled Weaving Strength, the events will bring together the 3 threads of NWMAF: Martial Arts, Self Defense, and Healing Arts.
NWMAF Regional Events are open to women, transgender, and nonbinary attendees and instructors ages 12 and above. Some regional events may also be open to cisgender men and boy ally attendees by invitation of the organizers.
