Ally memberships are for people who support the mission and work of NWMAF but are not eligible for standard membership, based on gender, or on not being active in martial arts, self-defense, or healing arts.

- Allies may apply to teach at Conference. Allies are generally expected to assist in a class rather than lead it, however.
- Ally members may attend online classes at the discretion of the lead instructor. Instructors have full latitude to manage the attendance of their classes as needed.
