I’m a 4th degree black belt in Jin Sei Ryu Karate-Do, and co-head instructor at Culture of Safety Dojo & Wellness Center in Chicago, Illinois. I’m also an NWMAF-certified ESD instructor and a licensed social worker in the state of Illinois.
I served on the NWMAF Board as the member at large for self-defense from 2016-2018, and the ESD certification coordinator from 2018 until 2022. In April of 2023, Carmel Drewes and I agreed to co-chair the organization on an interim basis.
