Co-Founder and Former Co-Head Instructor at Thousand Waves Martial Arts & Self-Defense Center, NFP. The Center opened in 1985 and offers ongoing classes in Seido Karate, a traditional Japanese martial art, and both onsite and community based Empowerment Self-Defense programs throughout the Chicagoland area.
I earned my 7th dan in Seido Karate in 2022, after 43 years of study. I also hold a 2nd dan in Kajukenbo, under Sifu Sarah Ludden.
I am an NWMAF certified Self-Defense Instructor.
