I am a nurse practitioner who started a nonprofit dedicated to the health and healing of healthcare workers who are suffering from issues commonly experienced such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, moral injury, shame, addiction, suicide, and others. 75% of workplace assaults occur in healthcare facilities and our organization is creating an empowerment-based program to increase the safety and well-being of healthcare workers.
