TikTok Literacy for ESD

October 4 @ 1:15 PM EDT

Everyone from beauty influencers to retired FBI agents to multi-level marketers is making TikToks full of baseless claims about crime and how we can avoid it. Even worse, these videos get thousands of likes and shares. This workshop will introduce participants to the rabbit hole of Personal Safety TikTok and present strategies for how to use these videos to educate students.
