Stephanie Cyr

Bio

Stephanie Cyr, JD, is an Empowerment Self-Defense educator (ESD) and lifelong martial artist with nearly four decades of training and teaching experience. A seventh-degree black belt in Taekwondo, she has also trained extensively in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Krav Maga, and other martial arts systems. As Faculty Lecturer of Personal Defense at San Francisco State University, Stephanie developed and directs the nation’s first accredited university minor in ESD.
