Grasping the Sparrow’s Tail – An Introduction to Tai Chi

Master Young will take you through a short section of the Tai Chi Chuan form called Grasp Sparrow’s Tail, while explaining the basic body mechanics and underlying principles of Tai Chi. Through our repetitious practice of this section of the form, you will get a glimpse of the somatic aspects and benefits of Tai Chi Chuan, which is both a martial art and a meditation practice that, over time, will increase mindfulness, improve balance, and provide relaxation techniques to help manage stress.
